The vacuum-actuated windshield wiper motor is problematic at best. I have seen a couple of conversions to electric using the 1955-57 Chevy wiper motor with cable-actuated switch. But it is becoming increasingly harder to find these motors and they are $$$ if you do find one. I did find a commercial kit to replace the vacuum wiper motor with a new electric one. It is manufactured by New Port Engineering and sold by Julianos. I installed it on my 1955 Patrician in a couple of hours. It just bolts in! The kit comes with a new wiper control switch of course, but the stock dash bezel & knob fit perfectly. I'll order another kit when I near finishing the Panther.
